Traverses

Traverses

Load-bearing capacity 2 t

The traverse is designed to handle loads of max. 2,000 kg. When handling a load, the traverse is hanging on the crane hook. The length of the traverse between the hook axes can be adjusted.

The traverse beam comprises two parts. The middle part is made of two 120 x 120 x 5 square pipes attached to each other with a weld along their length. In the middle part, two telescopic beams made of 100 × 100 × 6 square pipe slide in. In the axis of the middle part, there is an eye bolt designed for suspending the traverse onto the crane hook welded on. At the ends of the telescopic booms, there are hooks used for suspending a load welded on. There are four positions available for the adjustment of the traverse – 1.00 m; 1.245 m; 1.49 m; 1.735 m; and 1.98 m. The individual boom positions are locked with pins placed in holes. The pins are secured against their fall-out by swivelling. They are attached to the beam by chain.
